Grand River Watershed

History Collection
Description
This online collection features artifacts and specimens from the Grand Rapids Public Museum's Permanent Collection that tell a story about the Grand River and its watershed. From the natural processes that shaped the river over geologic time, to the stories of the people who have lived along its banks, to the current project to restore the rapids. The GRPM is working to actively document the changes to the river and their impact on our community.
