Curved steerhorn sealed on wide end with black painted wood disc and with metal dispenser with small mechanical opening/spout at narrow end. Two metal rings attached on top horizontal edge of horn to hold carrying strap. Strap is currently a piece of hemp.;The origins and original owner of this horn are unknown, making it of minimal value for research in the permanent collection. However, because of its larger size, it can easily be seen on stage by audiences and as such is ideal for use as part of the costume for volunteers in the Fur Trade program.
