Description:
This panel features loomed beadwork with over 66,000 beads and nylon thread. It was created by Cob-Moss-seh-queh, Walking Woman (Veronica High) and is titled "Storm Power". A quote from the artist: "My mother Glowing Moon (Christine Otto) had a saying - 'If I live to see and hear the first thunderstorm on the season, I'll live the rest of the year.' In one February, she died and the Thunderbird had not returned quick enough for my mother. The Thunderbird did return for the rest of the Earth and plants began to grow and life continues on."
