Three carved wood screens with characters for sun, light, and mountain. The wood has red lacquer.;Originally these three screens would have been part of an 8-piece screen set, which were made for the warlord patrons. Identified by Laurie Barnes, Associate Curator, The Detroit Institute of Arts, MI; tel: 313.833.1718.;The object is attributed to be from the residence of Marquis Yorisada, Tokugawa, Tokyo.
