Description:
Zincite is used as a zinc ore and fluoresces green under ultraviolet light. This specimen includes franklinite, a rare iron oxide, and calcite, a calcium carbonate mineral. It was found in Franklin, New Jersey and was donated by Charles A Whitemore.
