This piece was purchased on 1976-09-24 by Assistant Museum Director Gordon Olson. The piece was used as a prop for the 'People of the Grand' exhibit at the Public Museum's old museum building at 54 Jefferson. In 1998, the cradleboard was transferred to the Museum's Education Collection for hands-on use in educational programs.
