Description:
From model kit.;Exemplifies milestone in Grand Rapids Aviation History. Relates to Skylark Airplane and other models acquired at same time. 3000 Gliders of this type were manufactured by a consortium of 15 area furniture companies. Thousands were used in D-Day during WWII.;From an exhibit given to Kent Co. Airport in 1988. Exhibit was credited, Exhibit Conceived and Produced by Earl Spielmacher, with help from Karl Spielmacher, Bill Alexander, Mari Kitancevski and Dean Buskirk.
