3 Carefully tuned bamboo rattles are pierced and attached to each of 13 sets with painted red wooden frames. Wooden frames are shaken in groups to create a pleasant sound.;These instruments complement the museum's already significant collection of ethnographic instruments. They may be used in the permanent exhibition, 'Collecting A-Z: M is for Musical Instruments'.;Collected by the Musee de le Civilisation
