This bottle is considered a piece of realia, associated with Archival Collection #117, 'Study of Water Fluoridation and Dental Health'.;This dispenser of toothpaste is useful along with other items in this accession in telling the story of the Grand Rapids study to determine the effects on dental health of adding fluoride to a community's drinking water supply.;This dispenser of toothpaste was collected by the National Institue of Dental and Craniofacial Research for use in the exhibition, 'The Fluoride Story'.;The documents and artifacts in this collection were amassed by the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research for the exhibition 'The Fluoride Story'.
