Four-fold brochure, green and black ink with black & white photos of tourist destinations along U.S. Highway 16, and a map showing the highway route from Detroit, over Lake Michigan by ferry, to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. Includes several racial stereotype images of Native-Americans.;This brochure is a good example of the graphic style used for tourism materials during the mid-20th century. It shows a popular route which led west from Michigan for vacationing families.;In pencil script on front, 'aju / July 1954'. |
