Grand Rapids Chicks White Home Game Uniform

Description:
a. Uniform Dress, b. Belt, c. Satin drawers or panty covers. 100% cotton twill white one-piece dress uniform with side zipper, dark royal blue webbed belt and royal blue satin bloomers. 4" circular patch at top center of dress. Patch is white and rimmed in blue with white lettering. Lettering on patch says CITY OF GRAND RAPIDS MICHIGAN, 1850, MOTU VIGET- an eagle and scales are in the center of the patch. There is an AAGBBL patch on the sleeve: red and white, with the letters A-A GBBL with a star on each side of the As. The All-American Girls Professional Base Ball League was in existence from 1943 to 1954. The uniforms were re-created based on actual uniforms worn by the "Women in Baseball". AAGPBL copyright.
