Slide Tenor B-Flat/F Trombone, yellow and red brass and silver plating, with lacquered finish. Major parts are the trombone body, case, slide, and mouthpiece.;This instrument will help the museum to interpret the products of Yamaha Corporation of America, Band and Orchestra Division, an important local manufacturer. It fills a gap in the Museum's collection of wind instruments, which included no trombones. It will be used in the permanent Collecting A-Z: M is for Musical Instruments exhibition.;on bell, "YAMAHA / ESTABLISHED IN 1887";This is a Tenor B-Flat/F Slide Trombone, made locally by Yamaha Corporation of America, Ban & Orchestra Division, in its Kentwood factory. Here, the company manufacutures more than 100,000 brass, woodwiind, and percussion instruments for the North American market.
