This four-piece 'home' basketball uniform is from the Grand Rapids Tackers and was used in the 1960s by #20, M.C. Burton. It is part of archival collection #134 which consists of materials relating to the history of the Grand Rapids Tackers.
This uniform consists of a jersey, shorts, a warm-up jacket, and warm-up pants. The white cotton jersey features black and orange trim as well as the number 20 on the front and back. The white satin shorts have a wide elasticized waistband and a stripe down each outer seam. Both pieces have an interior maker label that reads "Goebel-Brown Sporting Goods, Grand Rapids, Mich". The warm-up suit is made of orange fleece and features black and white trim throughout. The letters G.R. are embroidered on the proper right side of the jacket and the words "Grand Rapids Tackers" are embroidered on the back.
