Description:
Burgundy alligator leather suitcase with polished brass hardware. White contrasting stitching on seams.;This suitcase is an excellent period example of gear for travel. It will be used in the Newcomers exhibition.;Purchased by Adolph G. Schumacher in St. Louis, MO. ca, 1925. Used by Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Schumacher until it was given to their daughter, Lynne (Schumacher) Carron in the 1940s. It was last used by her son, Christian G. Carron, beginning in the 1970s.
