This collection consists of a few papers and a scrapbook relating to the family of Reuben Wheeler. The former contains three estimates for lumber and construction materials given to Fred Wheeler. The latter is an old account book of Reuben Wheller that was used subsequently by his daughter Lily as a scrapbook for poems and newspaper articles. Rueben came to Grand Rapids in the mid-1800s. He was one of the town's prominent early architects and builders. He owned and operated Rueben Wheeler and Company.
