Description:
This garrison cap, sometimes referred to as an overseas cap, is from the United States Army Nurse Corps of the United States Army. It was worn by Alvena Franzen from 1943 to 1946 while serving in Scotland, England, and France during World War II. This cap is made of green wool and has black and gold piping which represent officer standing. 

This garrison cap accompanies uniform number 2008.27.3.

United States Army Nurse Corps
