Description:
Bottle of patent medicine produced in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Includes the original cardboard box which has text in both English and Dutch. Patent medicines like this were common in the 19th and early twentieth centuries, and were heavily advertised as remedies for all sorts of maladies.  This particular compound claims to purify the blood, is a reliable stomach and liver medicine, and is a sure cure for dyspepsia, constipation, and malarial poisons.
