Quartz is a silicate and is one of the most abundant minerals found on continental rocks. There are many different types of quartz such as amethyst, tiger's eye, rose quartz, and smoky quartz. This specimen is radiated quartz and was found in Vrchlabí, Czech Republic. It was collected by A. E. Foote.
