Description:
Quartz, the clear mineral seen here, is a silicate and is one of the most abundant minerals found on continental rocks. There are many different types of quartz such as amethyst, tiger's eye, rose quartz, and smoky quartz. This specimen also includes sphalerite, the gray mineral. It was found in Hungary and was collected by A. N. Fuller.
