This brown Tiki was designed by Shag and manufactured by Tiki Farm for the 2003 Hukilau in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The tiki has earrings and a diamond pattern for teeth, and is marked "Hukilau 2003".

SHAG is a paradigmatic artist based out of Southern California. His illustrative artwork has had a heavy influence on modern-day "retro" designs. Solo exhibitions of Shag's work have been held in the United States, Europe, Japan, Australia and South America.

The Mai-Kai was opened in 1956 in Fort Lauderdale, FL by two brothers from Chicago. The bar program was created by legendary bartender Mariano Licudine, who came from the Don the Beachcomber in Chicago. In February 2015, the Mai-Kai was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
