Description:
This silver footed bowl was owned by the Frey family of Grand Rapids, Michigan and is an example of a traditional centerpiece used on the table for everyday dining or as a special banquet piece. The family has contributed other everyday items to the Museum's Permanent Collection (see related objects). 

The bottom of this piece is marked "Sterling 700-5 Cement Filled" and "847995" has been scratched above the maker's mark.
