This umbrella frame has black metal ribs and a translucent orange lucite handle. All of the rib tips are missing, except for one and there is a metal tag on one of the ribs that read "Evan's Sweson Frame". This company was a prominent manufacturer of umbrellas throughout the 20th century. This umbrella no longer has a canopy, however originally it would have has a canopy of canvas or treated cotton.
