Northwestern Africa refers to a broad region, mostly desert, were meteorites are frequently found and then sold at markets. These finds are allocated to this region, rather than a specific country, because an exact location of recovery is usually unknown.
Purchased by James Tobin in February 2009 from a dealer at the Tucson Gem show.
