Description:
Pyrite, commonly known as fool's gold, is a sulfide mineral containing iron. When exposed to oxygen, the color darkens, turning from a brass-yellow to shades of brown. This specimen includes dolomite, a carbonate similar to calcite but contains magnesium. It was found in Frizington, England and was collected by A. N. Fuller.
