Maul
It may be comprised of quartzite, a dense metamorphosed sandstone.
It's associated with the Early to Middle Woodland.
It was found on Isle Royale and was likely used in copper mining.
Michigan has some of the purest copper in the world and it was a major trade good for Native Americans.
