Coronavirus Disease 2019 ➔ Face Shield

Description:
This 3D printed face shield was created by Kenowa Hills Public Schools STEM teachers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many individuals and companies began making face masks and other personal protective equipment to help prevent the spread of the virus and aid in the shortage of equipment. Teachers at Kenowa Hills began making masks, ear savers, and bias tape makers using the districts 30 3D printers. The equipment was later gathered and donated to groups such as West Michigan COVID disaster group and West Michigan Open Source Medical Supplies who then distributed it to local organizations.
