Description:
This photograph is in front of the Grand Rapids Press building that was located at the northeast corner of Michigan and Monroe. Mike Lloyd, Grand Rapids Press editor, is in the second row from the back in the middle of a group of three people. Rex Larsen, Press photographer is standing further back from the group looking at his camera. The Grand Rapids Press building was erected during the Urban Renewal of the 1960s. This building has since been replaced by the Michigan State Medical Research facility.

This photograph is part of the Grand Rapids Press Archival Collection #239, accession number 2012.2.1, which consists of bound newspaper volumes, historical photographs, company history, alphabetically indexed files of clippings, printed photographs, and negatives, as well as equipment related to newspaper printing.
