An elongated teardrop-shaped or hourglass shaped knife, with wooden handle with brass tacks and carved designs. The sheath is wood with a thin leather cover.;Part of accession 4621. The objects were collected by the donor while a missionary in the Belgian Congo, from 1922-1925. They were made by members of the Pende ethnic group, a Bantu people that live in what is now the Democratic Republic of Congo.
