Description:
This gold cloche features velvet floral inlays over tulle.  This style of hat was one of the most popular during this time period and was often worn with short hairstyles such as the bob. They were often made of felt so they could easily form to the shape of the head. The cloche was worn low on the forehead and sometimes featured embellishments such as lace applique, embroidery, and jeweled broaches.
