Fluorite is a halide mineral made of calcium and fluorine. It often forms cubic crystals and can be a variety of colors such as purple, green, yellow, or colorless. This specimen is purple and yellow and was found in Rosiclare, Illinois. It was donated by Mr. and Mrs. George Engbers.
