Smooth bore flintlock pistol firing .65 caliber ball.;Smooth bore flintlock firing a .65 caliber projectile.;detailed scrolling over handle, unknown writing engraved on top of barrel.;The first pistol to incorporate a true flintlock design was produced in France in 1610. Most flintlocks were muzzle loading single shot firearms, allowing the shooter one shot at a time. The Flintlock mechanism was the preferred weapons platform up to the mid 1800s when it was replaced by percussion caps.;Muzzleloader Pistol
