Lefauchex model 1863 revolver. Steel and wood construction.;Model 1863 six shot revolver Manufactured by Eugene Gabriel Lefaucheux of Paris. It fires an 11mm pinfire cartridge weighing 12.8 grams.;Left side of drum below barrel- "INVENTION E.LEFAUCHEUX BRVETÃ S C O a / PARIS/" Right side below drum-serial#36628;In 1863 the Swedish military bought 1065 of the revolvers from Lefauchex. The Swedish military soon made marksmanship with revolvers a part of the annual exercise for Artillery officers.;Six-Shot Pinfire Revolver
