This coat is from the United States Army from the United States Armed Forces. It was worn by Corporal Carl H. Poelstra of Allendale, Michigan while serving in the Korean War (1950-1953). This coat is made of olive drab canvas and has wool trim on the collar.

Carl H. Poelstra of Allendale, Michigan was born in 1926 and served in the United States Army from 1948 to 1954. During the Korean War, he was in the 28th Division, 8th Army. Poelstra passed away in 1984.
