Description:
This dress features a neat pattern made of cotton. The collar, sleeve cuffs, skirt hem, and center front are trimmed in a leaf print fabric. The bodice features a bermuda collar and gigot sleeves with a dropped shoulder seam. There are cartridge pleats around the waist. Features that indicate this dress is from this time period are the bell-shaped skirt, the gigot sleeves, and the boned bodice. 

This handmade dress was worn by the donor's great-great aunt, Mary Kelly when she came to this country.
