Archival Collection #025 - "Furniture Record" Artwork contains original artwork including woodcut and etching prints, drawings, and publisher's proof sheets of artwork depicting furniture factory interiors and furniture craftsmen, and various pieces of furniture and stylistic motifs. Most carry a partial label indicating they were proofs from the Periodical Publishing Co., which published the "Furniture Record" and the "Furniture Manufacturer" in Grand Rapids.This collection consists of 59 pen & ink drawings of furniture, 19 woodcut prints of furniture manufacturing, & 12 drawings detailing the construction of bird houses. The collection measures 1/2 a cubic foot and spans the dates 1927-1928.

Grand Rapids Area Furniture Manufacturers Association (GRAFMA)
Originally formed as the Furniture Manufacturers Association of Grand Rapids (FMA) in 1881. In 1987 the organization changed its name to Grand Rapids Area Furniture Manufacturers Association. This association consisted of furniture manufacturers located in western Michigan The organization conducted wage surveys, compiled statistics, sponsored periodic seminars on furniture technology and published brochures, newsletters, and the document entitled Roster
