Description:
Orpiment (the yellow mineral pictured here) is an arsenic-sulfide mineral often found with stibnite and realgar. It was once used as a pigment in paint until the presence of arsenic was discovered. This specimen also includes realgar, the red mineral which can be used as an ore for arsenic. It was found in Russia.
