During their World Industrialization unit, 9th grade students from the Grand Rapids Public Museum School analyzed and researched a clothing item (artifact) from the GRPM collections. They worked to determine the natural resources, people, and processes involved in creating that piece of clothing, and connected it to innovations from the Industrial Revolution. They also explored the environmental and social consequences of the clothing industry.
