Clear glass jar or bottle in the shape of a bell, with a closed bottom and an open neck. Commemorative information is printed in blue paint on the front and back;This bell commemorates the national convention of a collectors organization in Grand Rapids. The convention connected to the Museum because the Speir bell collection owned by the Museum was amassed by the Association's first president. The convention attendees visited to the Museum to see the collection. It helps to document the relationship between convention and museum activities in Grand Rapids. It also documents the activities of a typical collectors organization. It will add to the strong collection of bells already owned by the Museum.;In blue paint on front, "The American Bell Association".
