Joel LeFever was curator of the Holland Museum for 14 years and the President of the museum for three years. He is the author of several books, relating to the history of Dutch immigrants in West Michigan. He also collaborated with the Grand Rapids Public Museum as a research contributor and consultant for various projects, such as the Netherlands Ethnology Documentation Project.
