Description:
Metal eyepieces with glass lenses attach to metal plate with a moveable wood shelf. Foldable wood handle connected to metal plate along bottom edge. Metal faceplate has embossed foliate design, with center medallion design along top.;ACCEPT and place in Education Collection. RELEVANCE: Stereoscope viewers were a popular form of parlor entertainment in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries. The Voigt House volunteers would like to use this scope for hands-on programming during tours. OTHER COLLECTIONS: The Voigt collection has many stereoview cards.
