See acc. file for photocopies. Collection includes the following US WWII army (unless otherwise noted) insignia. Patches: 17th Airborne Div., Glider borne paratroops, 101st Airborne Div 'Screaming Eagles', 2 13th armored div., 4 WWI Private First Class chevrons, Service stripe 'hash mark', Overseas service stripes (one each for 3 successive 6 month service period), 3 airborne shoulder patch worn above division patch - 2 black 101st div., 1 blue 82nd div. Pins & badges etc: 3 US army collar discs (2 infantry, 1 coast artillery), 1 'ruptured duck' service button, 2 small and 1 large glider badges, British WWII cap badge Duke of Wellington's Regiment (West Riding), 2 multiple award stars (for repeat awards of a particular medal), 2 82nd airborne tie tacks (probably civilian veteran's item). Ribbons: 2 ribbons detached from Good Conduct medals, 2 good conduct medal ribbon pins, 4 Presidential Unit Citation ribbon pins, Good Conduct medal ribbon pin on left, European-African-Middle Eastern theater ribbon w/ 4 battle stars and one assault arrowhead (double pin), Victory medal ribbon pin, 2 European-African-Middle Eastern theater ribbon pins. One fourragere, a green and red shoulder braid (denoting second such citation) made of parachute cord, presented by French Govt. to U.S. troops.
