Description:
Two hide loops on one side; rawhide braided loop near opening. Bottom tapered to slightly curved tip. Black and red pattern at top.;This item, along with bow and arrows, was another traditional hunting tool of the Maasai people group of southern Sudan and Kenya.;Collected by Heywood Walker Weldon, the donor's father, in 1962-1963 while teaching at the Khartoum Technical Institute, Sudan, through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
