Description:
Recurve bow made from a single piece of wood. The bow is strung with gazelle gut.;Traditionally used for hunting by the Maasai people of southern Sudan and Kenya.;Collected by Heywood Walker Weldon, the donor's father, in 1962-1963 while teaching at the Khartoum Technical Institute, Sudan, through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
