Description:
Stuffed light blue fabric body and a hard molded plastic head. Head is molded to look like the character, Spock, from the Star Trek TV show and movie. Body is made entirely of fabric. Light blue uniform has a gray-blue collar, applied orange epaulettes, an orange and white broach-type decoration on chest, and applied black and white belt buckle. Both hands have small pieces of velcro stitched to them. Both sleeves have two applied gold stripes.;This doll is a good example of the type of merchandising that has become so prevalent in the TV and movie industries in the late 20th Century. Toys and other merchandise are made to tie into current productions to help with sales. This particular doll shows the increasing interest in science fiction and space travel, with the general public, in the late 20th Century.;Played with by donor when he was a child.;Played with by donor when he was a child.
