Artifact GR was a project which invited members of the community into the archives of the Grand Rapids Public Museum, and asked them to write about their experiences.  The resulting submissions were cataloged in an interactive website (www.artifactgr.org) and in a published book (http://www.blurb.com/b/4400444-the-artifact-projectsoftcover).

The Corona Typewriter Company was originally known as the Standard Typewriter Company and was renamed the Corona Typewriter Company after the success of their Corona model in 1914. In 1926 the company merged with L.C. Smith & Bros. to create Smith-Corona. L.C. Smith & Bros. continued to make office typewriters while Corona made portables.  Richard Ryan (donor)
