Description:
Curved yellowing steer horn flattened into an elliptical shape. Bone cap in base, dark brown spout. Etched scene as described in decorative motif field.;This is a fine example of its type of folk decoration. It can be used to intrepret the importance of hunting in Grand Rapids' frontier past. It may also be used in the permanent 'I is for Ivory' exhibition.;May have been made and owned by dononr's ancestor, logger Andrew Spencer of Grand Rapids.
