Flute in the key of 'C' made from ivory, with 4 metal keys. Housed in black fauz leather case with emerald green velvet lining. Flute comes apart into four pieces, only one piece holds the physical number.;This rare and beautiful instrument represents excellence in the craft of musical instrument making. It will be used in the permanent 'Collecting: A-Z, I is for Ivory' exhibition.;Stamped on each section of flute, 'ADLER/ BAMBERG/ D'.;Purchased by donor's former husband, Jim L. Buck in Paris, France.
