Description:
Looks just like a sea lamprey. A long, thin eel-like creature with a round mouth possessing rows of inward-facing teeth.;Represents chordate class agnatha, or jawless fishes. This species figures prominently as an environmental invader to the Great Lakes that (along with overfishing) is blamed for the collapse of native Lake Trout populations in the Great Lakes. This species continues to evade attempts to control it in the St. Mary's river.
