Description:
Small red and white windmill. A rectangular wooden base painted red. From the base is a wooden pyramid column, the column is painted white and is decorated with flowers and windows, decorations are faded. From the column leads to the second base that is painted red. The base swivels due to a screw that attaches the column to the base. Two objects are connected to the base. A wooden Dutch shoe and a windmill. The wooden Dutch is shoe is painted white with an inscription. See Inscription. The other part of the top base leads into a propeller. The edges of the propellers are painted red at an angle, the rest of the propellers are painted white.;Purchased for possible use in the Ethnic History exhibition. Possibly a Dutch Novelty Works product (Holland Historical Trust has a similar windmill.)
