Two boxes of Korean cookies for children. Cartoon characters and and pictures of the cookies are shown on the box. One box with a raccoon has a small round cookies with a chocolate center, the other has mushroom shaped cookies with a chocolate covering. The text on both boxes are in Korean, and have a label in English with nutritional facts and distributor information.;This item is sold in Korean American stores. It represents one of the luxury items that was not available to Korean children when they first immigrated to America. It helps Korean Americans to perpetuate the culture of their homeland, and helps the museum to interpret Korean culture as it exists in Grand Rapids. To be considered for use in the Newcomers exhibit.
